Three ways to engage
The work starts wherever you are.
Every engagement is built around the five pillars framework. The entry point depends on where you are and what the business needs right now.
Engagement 01

For individuals and owners who want to align who they are with what they're building. This engagement maps what lights you up, what you need financially, and what a life built on your actual terms looks like across all five pillars.
Ideal for owners in transition, those preparing for a sale or succession, or anyone who wants clarity on the personal side before making the next big business move.

- 5 monetizable passions identified

Engagement 02 — Most common entry point
Business Discovery & Audit
A one-time audit. We come on-site, walk through every part of the operation, map your org and culture, and deliver a written findings report with prioritized recommendations within two weeks.
This is where most clients start. It gives you a clear, honest picture of where the business actually stands. Not just what the numbers say, but how the people, processes, and culture are holding up.

How it works
- 01
Discovery meeting
Owners, key staff, and relevant advisors. We learn the business from the people who run it.
- 02
On-site walk-through
Safety, operations, maintenance, and compliance. Observed in person, not from a spreadsheet.
- 03
Org & culture mapping
Hierarchy diagram and culture surveys across the team. We find out what people actually experience at work.
- 04
Report & recommendations
Written findings delivered within two weeks. Prioritized actions with the reasoning behind each one.
Engagement 03
Operations & Culture Retainer
Monthly engagement with up to 3 hours per week. We build SOPs with your team, establish culture structures, and hold the work accountable through weekly milestones, monthly reviews, and quarterly goals.
This is the long-game for owners who are ready to build the structures that make the business run without them in every room.

The business case
Structure pays for itself.
For companies in the $1M–$50M range, structure and safety programs return 2–7% of revenue in measurable bottom-line gains.
A $10M construction company that reduces injuries from five to one per year saves $160K–$320K in direct costs alone — before accounting for the margin improvement that comes from a more efficient, more accountable operation.
The audit pays for itself before the report is delivered.
Common questions
FAQ
What size of company do you typically work with?
Owner-operated businesses with $1M–$50M in revenue and 5–200 employees, in any industry. The work changes based on the complexity of the business and the owner, not just the headcount.
How long does the Business Audit take?
Typically around 30 days. A discovery meeting, an on-site walk-through, org and culture mapping. Then the written report with prioritized recommendations is delivered within two weeks of the other steps being completed.
What's the difference between the audit and the retainer?
The audit is a one-time engagement: you get a clear picture of where the business stands and a prioritized action plan. The retainer is ongoing. We build SOPs with your team, establish culture, and hold the work accountable month over month. Many clients start with an audit and move to a retainer.
Do you work with businesses outside of Utah?
The on-site walk-through is a core part of the Business Audit. For retainer clients, the cadence involves regular on-site visits. If you're outside Northern Utah, reach out and we'll discuss what's workable.
Can individuals engage without a business?
Yes. The Personal Discovery & Financial Vision engagement is built specifically for individuals, owners aligning personal goals with business strategy, people in career transition, or anyone who wants a structured look at where they are and where they're going across all five pillars.
What happens after the audit?
You get a written findings report and a prioritized action list. Some clients take that and run with it internally. Others move into a retainer to implement the work with ongoing support. Either path is a legitimate outcome of the audit.
